Course Methodology:
The course provides a learning methodology that enables students to put into practice their knowledge in a practical way throughout their individual assignments.
These tasks are based on their knowledge building which highly depend on a discrete sequential decision-making process.
In the first assignment students will develop project scope, time scheduling and cost estimation for one particular project provided to them.
In the second assignment, students are expected to provide further analysis and produce a synthetical view of the final project they are developing, by doing some research on particular details of the project together with the identification of all active strategies required, also discussing other available options.
Online student assessment will be done in two different ways:
• Through forum participation and teamwork discussion.
• Through two individual assignments.
As for the assessment procedure, students’ work will be assessed on an individual basis although teamwork will sometimes be required.
Assessment:
Revision exercises: The revision exercises are designed to allow students to self-assess their own learning progress at the beginning of each unit.
Control Tests: A control test is designed to grade students in the middle of their learning process and can act as a guide for the final exam.
Practice tests.
Non-distant final exam. The final paper lasts for one hour at the end of the term. Students are allowed to use study materials during this exam. There are two possible exams per course: in June and September and students can freely choose to take any of them. A grade of Pass is required to obtain the corresponding credits of each course.
