Learning Outcomes:
The participants in the course will be shown how to:
a) Clearly define what their business idea is and identify what are the basic requirements to implement it.
b) Write a business plan that includes all of the necessary elements for the plan to be taken into account by investors and decision makers.
c) Present the business plan in a way that will increase the likelihood of it being successful.

Isidro is currently leading the activities of the European Commission in the area of startups. He is in charge of the Startup Europe initiative. In addition, Isidro is fellow in Cambridge University in the areas of tech startups and Digital Single Market. Isidro is the author of several books on Internet, mCommerce, eCommerce and collaborative Commerce. Isidro set up his own "startup" just after leaving the university. Later he worked in the areas of strategic consulting and manager of International projects with partner from Latam and Europe.
Assessment:
Revision exercises: The revision exercises are designed to allow students to self-assess their own learning progress at the beginning of each unit.
Control Tests: A control test is designed to grade students in the middle of their learning process and can act as a guide for the final exam.
Practice tests:
Non-distant final exam. The final paper lasts for one hour at the end of the term. Students are allowed to use study materials during this exam. There are two possible exams per course. A grade of Pass is required to obtain the corresponding credits of each course.
